The palette is permanent so no need to rush to get it ( honestly I wish they would've specified that as to not spark a frenzy.but I guess that was the point, huh? Business is business I guess). It was worth it to me but I do have a few palettes in mind that dupe the vibes in case you're not looking to spend this kind of money. This here Pastel Dreams from Give Me Glow Cosmetics was/is a pretty penny. And to be clear, in my world, it’s always the season. But in an interesting turn of events, over the last 2yrs or so the makeup industry has stepped its game all the way up when developing some pretty amazing pastel color-cosmetics. Actually, it’s safe to say that in the summer time it’s even less ground breaking.

It makes a great supporting palette for pops of color or more shades for a monochromatic look.Ok, ok, I know… pastels and flora’s for spring isn’t exactly innovative…nothing new here. Overall, I enjoyed it and its actually my favorite ‘rainbow themed’ palette I own, especially since each color relatively has a dark and a light, but I wouldn’t use it exclusively. Am I the only one that think the naming of these palettes is backwards? Haha ? I think it is odd that this palette, is called the Paint PRO palette, when the first paint palette released is much larger (and with a better range of colors). These textures look great when applied with fingers, but if you exclusively use brushes you may have to work a bit harder to get the application you want. The same texture is seen in the Ice Cream Dream palette and the Blue Cheese and 1000 EYEland shades of The Burger palette. The shimmer shades were extremely soft and creamy, almost to the point of making it difficult to evenly apply without clumps. Fall out is minimal, because of this though. The matte shades in the Paint PRO were quite dry and hard pressed, which meant for repeat application. I hate to keep comparing all the Glamlite palettes, but honestly The Cake palette and The Burger palette were such good quality and what I expect from future releases in this line.

What surprised me most is the quality of the shadows. If you only use 1-2 shadows per look, this may be the perfect rainbow for you, but for me it doesn’t have it all. I found myself reaching for other palettes (both Glamlite and other brands) for supporting shades. Let me know what you think!Ĭolors Used: Yellow Ochre, Tangerine, Crimson Red, Cadmium Yellow and Dark VioletĬolors Used: Yellow Ochre, Tangerine, Crimson RedĬolors Used: Turquoise, Orchid, Dark Violet, Azure, Titanium White, and Cobalt Blue Final Thoughts Rating: 4/5Īs much as I hate to say this, this palette is lacking and is definitely NOT a stand-alone palette. Here are the makeup looks I created using the Paint PRO palette. 12 rainbow matte shades and 6 soft/creamy shimmer shades. The Glamlite Paint PRO retails for $38 USD and features 18 eyeshadows in total. Who remembers those god awful sponge applicators? The eyeshadows are protected by a frosted clear cover, which is hard and sturdy. I love getting legit brushes with palettes. This hand held palette features a realistic paint palette shape, complete with finger hold for handling! It also comes in a colorful unit carton box with an eyeshadow “paint” brush for application. The Glamlite Paint PRO palette, is a little sister version of the original Paint Palette.

Keep on reading to find out if it met my expectations (or not)! The Palette Surprisingly enough, I found no interest in the original Paint palette, but the color scheme of this one reminded me of an extended version of my favorite, Glamlite Cake palette. It has been some time since my last review, but I am back to feeling more like myself and wanting to experiment with makeup again! This week, I tried some looks using the Glamlite Paint PRO palette.
